All Video Games start with Game Design, in this workshop we introduce students to the position of a Video Game Designer. We will break down the design process, explore genres and systems of different games, explore the process creating of game design documents, develop a game pitch as a part of a design group and introduce students to Unity via the Unity Essentials pathways leaving students with the tools to start on the path of learning a game engine. (Please note this is not a coding workshop!)
