NCM Members are invited to an after-hours viewing and guided tour of Signal to Noise and Quantum Futures.

Hear behind the scenes stories about NCM’s latest exhibitions directly from the team who led their production including an opportunity to get up close and personal with Nam June Paik’s Internet Dream, visiting Melbourne for the first time.

We are living through the biggest technological revolution since industrialisation and information that was once scarce has turned into an over-abundance of noise. Signal to Noise encourages us to reconsider our understandings of noise and presents artworks, including major international loans and commissions, that show how artists embrace this new age. Exhibition lead Felicity Dallimore will guide you through Signal to Noise sharing insights into each artwork and discuss the overall themes & design process of the exhibition.

In Quantum Futures, explore how technology connects us to the unseen forces shaping our world and see the complex ideas of quantum physics decoded through Bloch Sphere activities and artistic interpretations of the ‘observer effect’. Hear from project lead Callum Stewart about the development of Quantum Futures and NCM’s role in connecting museum visitors with breakthroughs in the technology industry.

This exhibition tour is just for NCM Members but its not too late to subscribe and join in.
