Swinburne students are invited to a special free preview of NCM's new exhibition, Signal to Noise.
We’re opening the doors exclusively to Swinburne students on Wednesday 21 September from 11am—1pm. It’s a chance to explore the exhibition for free, experience the works and help bring the space to life as we welcome media visitors on the day.
Some students may be asked to participate in short interviews with media attending, but there's no obligation and no guarantee.
While they're here, students are also invited to check out Quantum Futures, another exhibition which has recently opened, exploring the fascinating world of quantum physics.
About Signal to Noise:
The Information Age is over.
Signal to Noise explores how artists work with, challenge, or complicate the relationship between signals and noise—disruptions, glitches or interference—in communication technologies and the messages they send.
Through international artworks, new commissions and technology collections, the exhibition reframes noise not as a problem to solve, but as a productive, political and poetic force—an opportunity for creative engagement.
